Posted by: | Comments
Here’s my top Yahoo! Answers for the day (God I like Yahoo! Answer!):
How can I tell her that I do not like hairy legs with out hurting her feelings. Please help me?
My answer: It shouldn’t hurt her feeling saying you don’t like hairy legs, it’s plain disgusting and how could she not know that? On a more serious note, there’s no good way for telling that. I don’t see why there would be ojections from her…
If density = mass/volume; what is the density of a rock that has a mass of 35 grams and displaces 5.0 mLs …?

What would happen if a Zombie bit an android?
Asker details: An android is a human that has some or most of it’s body that’s just machine; for instance darth vader or those androids from Dragon ball Z. I think the android would still be infected, but would the robotic parts have a mind of it’s own or would the zombie/android control them.
My answer: Does it really care? Is there any zombie/android relations specialist out there?

Trust me, there has to be a limit!
How come black people are so primal?
Asker details: And if they hate the way they are treated in this country why don’t they just go back to Africa?
My Answer: This is really a bad and stupid question. Really this deserve the stupidiest question of the day. Not only it is racist but it just doesn’t make sense. God people are dumb. No wonder why our society isn’t necessarely going forward. I was in fact wondering if I’d post it or not and I thougt: Go ahead, people deserve to know that kinf of behavior is still happening more than we think.
Here it was, a couple of my favorite questions for the day. More to come tomorrow…

I ate 4,000 calories today and didn’t exercise.

I’m a big fan of Yahoo! Answers. There’s funny questions to laugh about and also a lot of valuable answers. It all depend what you search for. For people not knowing what Yahoo! Answer is, it is basically a place where anyone can ask a question and the community answers your question the best they can. I found a gem today and I’m providing you with the question here:
This morning, I got up and had a Slim Fast 250 calorie drink in a can and then worked on the computer. I have a home office where I do photo retouching and graphic design. I sometimes sit at my computer for hours without getting up off the chair. I bought a gym membership but haven’t went since three days ago.
I was doing really good eating wise today until at 10 pm when I had a massive hunger strike. I had only eaten about 1,800 calories total (the slim fast drink and meal bar, dannon fusion yogurt smoothie drink and a sensible 700 cal dinner). I went to Taco Bueno and got a meal plus another taco. It didn’t seem like a lot at the time.
I was curious after I ate it and looked online to see that I had eaten a total of 2,200 calories! I couldn’t believe how many I ate without thinking about it. Is there anything I can do to prevent this overwhelming of hunger from happening again? Please no cruel answers. I need to lose weight for my health and need to stop this self sabatoge!
Is it just me or there’s nothing to answer there? How to prevent this overwhelming of hunger? Damn just don’t get a 2,200 calories meal at 10 pm. What I find quite funny is:
I went to Taco Bueno and got a meal plus another taco. It didn’t seem like a lot at the time.
Aright, is it just me or a meal + another taco does seem a lot? When I order a McDonald’s meal and an extra burger at 10 pm, I do know it’s not good. Don’t tell me she didn’t know what to expect. Don’t just a taco was ok? Or just the meal? Did you really have to order all that to satisfy your hunger strike?
Sometimes people post funny stuff on Yahoo Answers. You get your answer just by asking the question. You’ll tell me the real question was how to prevent this overwhelming of hunger from happening again and not how to loose weight. I agree, but there’s no secret there, I know a lot of people who lost a lot of weight and guess what? Eat well, exercise well and a bit of self control. I guess when you really want…
In fact the person asked the question knowing what the answers would be…Because there’s really no secret and it’s common sense.
Maybe I can’t understand as I’ve never had any weight problems and I can mostly eat what I want without worrying, but I honestly think it’s a ridiculous question considering the context. I know it’s hard to loose weight and it’s not what this is about. It’s about common sense: Eat 2,200 extra calories when there’s really an easy way of eating less(like just a taco or just ONE meal) I don’t think you can complain much.
Someone Tinkering With The Sun
Posted by: | Comments
I was browsing the Web today and I came across an interesting post. Interesting not because it is an important matter, but mostly because it doesn’t make much sense. I think sometimes people are pushing back their cause more than they’re pushing it forward. That’s exactly what this article is about. The article can be located here: Possible Smoke Gun - Someone Tinkering With The Sun. I will first start with the first paragraph of the article:
I believe we have finally found the smoking gun that someone is tinkering with our sun and/or perhaps time with Earth. Needless to say, the implications of this cannot be good for the Earth in the long term.
And the conclusion of the article:
If this X-ray data provided by NASA is real and isn’t a game, then this is the smoking gun many of us have been looking for. It shows intelligent manipulation of either time or the Sun. And it should be of great concern for all of us, considering we’ve had tornadoes in WINTER this year.
Ok, so what is this all about? I won’t get too much into details with the article as it’s really not the point of my article. To make a quick briefing of the article, the author is saying that for the past three days, solar X-Ray level shifts have occurred around the same time and this is really not usual. He shows images from the NASA to prove his point and say it’s really strange that for three consecutive days, X-ray shifts have occurred within the same time interval.
False, true, true false? I don’t care. My point for this article is really “someone is tinkering with our sun”. I can’t believe the most clever conclusion for that consecutive x-ray level shift is that someone is tinkering with our sun or worst, with time. Someone is tinkering with our sun? Come on, please! Being the government or whatever, how can someone thinker with the sun? It’s by far the biggest energy source near Earth and I would really appreciate if someone could explain me how you can influence the behavior of the Sun or even time. It would take a lot of energy to just even think about it.
Why am I not commenting on its finding? Because it’s not worth it. I mean, the NASA is releasing honest data about X-Ray activity of the Sun and then someone claims that someone is tinkering with the sun and time. It’s just ridiculous and the worst part is that this person is calling it truth. I mean, it can probably be explained by a dozen of good reasons, maybe just by the increasing solar activity due to peak by 2012. Any scientific explanation would have been valuable, except that someone is tinkering with the sun. Please.
The conspiracy theories have to stop somewhere. UFOs is one thing, manipulating the sun and time is another thing.
A little more Alex Chiu please!
Posted by: | CommentsAlex is awesome. As most of you know it’s not my first post about Alex Chiu and all his scams. But now it’s not about the scams, it’s about Alex Chiu himself. Here’s a video interview with Alex Chiu from the Web Drifter. It’s simply awesome and a definitive classic:
My favorite part is definitely Alex Chiu saying:
Well, they definitely don’t have strip clubs!
When talking about heaven.
Other highlights:
This place is so gay.
This doesn’t help girls thinking you’re Frankenstein because you think you can make people live forever!
And the song at the end…I just love Alex.
Wow, great moment, enjoy!
How come conspiracy/scams websites are all Web 0.1?
Posted by: | CommentsThis is truly amazing. The more respect you seem to gain is in direct link with the ugliness of your website when it comes to conspiracy/scams website. I say web 0.1 because it seems so far from the web 2.0 websites we see today. I mean how do they plan to get respect from rational people with that kind of web design? You just don’t feel it’s an honest website!
You just have to search for “2012″ in Google for example and you’ll see the ugliness. The worst thing is that these websites are appearing on top Google search results, which means they have some sort of reputation. It’s the same story whenever I get on a conspiracy theory website.
Alex’s Chiu’s website is the ugliest thing I’ve seen in my entire life. When you search for “Conspiracy” on Google, the first result is http://www.conspiracyplanet.com/ and once again it confirms the theory. India Daily is ugly as hell also and I could go on and on.
I feel better now…
Alex Chiu Super Chi Flush ‘healing feeling’ scam
Posted by: | CommentsI wrote before about Alex’s Chiu’s immortality rings and Gorgeouspil. If you read the article, you’ll notice the guy is completely crazy and selling amazing crap to people. I was just browsing around and I noticed a new product from Alex Chiu. It might not be new as maybe I just didn’t notice it the last time, but it’s one more crazy product. After the immortality rings and the eternal beauty pills Gorgeouspil, here is “Super Chi Flush”.
What the hell is Super Chi Flush?
Super Chi Flush’s herbal compound is strong enough to break the toughest clogs in your body. It will send Chi energy into any area of your body. Super Chi Flush will allow you to feel healing throughout the entire body. You will feel constant healing for the entire healing session. (around 2 hours) So you can enjoy 2 hours of very strong and noticeable ‘healing feeling’ every night at your most critically blocked area.
Super Chi Flush fights the toughest clogs in the body slowly opening up the blockades which hindered the flow of Chi energy. The end result is that the entire body’s Chi flow will eventually be unclogged. Could this mean that all handicaps, tumor, herpes, cancer, etc. will all be flushed away by Super Chi Flush? No medical claim, so you decide.
Super Chi Flush is green-food powder that contains only natural herbs. Absolutely no side affect. Super Chi Flush does not work without Gorgeouspil and the Immortality Rings.
Direction of use: Dump 3 teaspoons of Super Chi Flush powder into half a cup of cold or warm water. Mix well. Drink it along with Gorgeouspil 20 minutes before you go to bed for healing.
The Price
It cost 24$ for one month supply or 48$ if you buy it with a bottle of gorgeouspil!
The Scam
God this is one more amazing scam from Alex Chiu. The beauty here is that he’s saying the product doesn’t work without Gorgeouspil AND the immortality rings. This is such a failure because the immortality rings give you eternal life, the Gorgeouspil gives you eternal beauty and healing power, then why the hell do you need to be healed if you have eternal life? I mean for me immortality ring means I don’t have to bother about health anymore.
He’s not that dumb, he thought about it:
The Immortality Rings re-align and regroup your body faster than it ages. Therefore it is believed to reverse the aging process. But if you have a serious handicap or a giant tumor, the rings alone cannot cure you.
Well followed by:
Could this mean that all handicaps, tumor, herpes, cancer, etc. will all be flushed away by Super Chi Flush? No medical claim, so you decide.
In the end, you’re screwed.
Anyway, just thought it would be nice to point this out.
The Web is Empty
Posted by: | Comments
Do you have the feeling you’re always visiting the same web sites over and over again even if it’s supposed to be different web sites? I’m really sick of what I call “Content Replication” and this is particularly true about blogs. Whatever the subject I’m searching about I usually end up reading more or less the same content over and over again. This is especially true when searching about paying subjects like web design, search engine optimization (SEO), making money online, finance, medical, etc.
Why is it that way? People blogging for money. When you search for popular content, you have millions of webmasters trying to make a buck with their website/blog. You will find original content on maybe 1% of the web sites, others are just “content replication”. Bloggers who do content replication are bloggers seeking easy money so they re-write existing articles in their own words. We all do it in a certain way as we have to gather our information somewhere, but there’s a way of being creative and not repeating the same articles over and over again.
What is more annoying is that webmasters can make money with content replication. Search for “How to make money online” and you will most likely get 10 similar posts on the main search page. The only credit that goes for the webmaster is its ability to be ranked on the first page of Google. Apart from that, it’s more or less the same content.
The Web is empty because probably 98% of the content is duplicate content re-written in the hope of getting some traffic and making a couple of bucks out of it. Sad thing is it works if you manage to get traffic.
I understand sometimes as a blogger you don’t have time to write but you have to write a little something for your readers. It’s quick and easy to take existing content and re-write it a bit, but this shouldn’t be more than 1-2% of the posts.
Anyway, I would just like to see more original content and stop having the impression of re-visiting the same web site over and over.
Can you make money with online survey jobs?
Posted by: | CommentsThere’s a lot of opportunities on the Internet today to make money and sadly there’s a lot of scams going on. An interesting way of making money can be to take Online Surveys and get paid for them. Is it a scam? Yes and no. I’ve made some research on the subject and the truth is that some companies are totally crap while some other offer good money making opportunities.
What to look for in Online Survey jobs?
Look for programs that have plenty of surveys that you can take. Even if the survey only pays a small cash amount, these small amounts can quickly add up and you can make substantial money. The more surveys you fill with quality, the more you’ll be selected for more opportunities with higher paying rate. Make sure you read reviews on the internet before selecting a survey company. I can’t point you to any in particular as there’s quite a lot but you can easily find websites dedicated to online survey reviews with a quick Google search.
Watch out for scams!
It’s so easy to get caught in a scam with online surveys. There’s so many persons signing up for online surveys without doing a background check and guess what: They never receive a check! There’s a lot of business competing in that sector and some are really small business run by a single person. These businesses are the one to avoid. You want to sign up with an online survey company that has a good reputation. If you want to get paid, that’s the only secret.
How does online surveys work?
It’s quite straight forward. You sign up and wait for a notification by email for a survey that is ready for you. Then money should start coming in.
How do I get paid for online surveys?
There are different ways to get paid for online survey. Some survey programs pay in cash. The cash programs are preferred by many people. Other programs pay in products. If they are products that you use or that you would like to try, then these are the programs that will work well for you. People will usually target online surveys that pay for money because that’s what everyone want in the end! The payment method is usually a check.
What are your thoughts, are online surveys a scam?
My impression with Online Survey jobs is that only a minority of the people make money with it. There’s a lot of websites online trying to sell you online surveys and I think most of them are crap and there for the money. Easy money is always attracting but remember there’s no easy money. Even with online surveys you’ll have to put a lot of efforts into it to eventually make substantial money. If you want to try it, go ahead, but make sure to sign up with a reputable company. In the end, it’s like any other money making opportunity on the Internet: Some make 2000$ a month and some make 0$ no matter the efforts they put into it. So be careful.
How Does Google Rank Websites?
Posted by: | Comments
Everybody use Google and it’s by far the best and most popular search engine on the Internet. Have you ever asked yourself how does Google decide which site ranks first and which site appears on the last page of the search results? Of course, it use your keywords to determine which site is the most relevant to your query, but how does Google decide between two sites with the exact same title? You can even push it further: How would Google decide which site to rank first between to sites with the same content and same title?
Google ranking algorithm is called PageRank and was developed by Google’s founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin at Standford University. This is the core of Google’s ranking even if a lot of other aspects will influence the rankings. Here’s how Google define their PageRank algorithm:
PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page’s value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at considerably more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; for example, it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important” weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important.” Using these and other factors, Google provides its views on pages’ relative importance.
Of course, important pages mean nothing to you if they don’t match your query. So, Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your search. Google goes far beyond the number of times a term appears on a page and examines dozens of aspects of the page’s content (and the content of the pages linking to it) to determine if it’s a good match for your query.
So there you go, the more back links a website has, the more chances it has to be highly ranked. The quality of the websites pointing to another also has a lot of influence. I think it’s probably the best technique so far as your search will return you the site that seems to be the most popular for the query you entered. This is where it gets tricky as more popular doesn’t necessarily mean best quality. Let’s say you build a new website about technology with a lot of quality content and that is built with the highest standards of the industry. Now you write a new website about the new MacBook Air hoping to get some traffic when people search for MacBook Air on Google. Even if your website is the best available for that keyword, it will be returned on maybe page 15-20 of Google search results. Why? Because you don’t have any links pointing to your website, so poor PageRank. It might be also almost impossible for you to rank on the first Google search results page because you might be competing with websites having millions of back links.
That’s where Google ranking gets tricky. Most of the users don’t go any further than 30 results and sometimes you could be surprised by the quality of the links you would find on page 7-8. The websites might be a little less popular but that doesn’t mean they don’t offer quality content. It’s hard work today in the Internet industry to get a good rank on Google because you fight with people and companies that wants to be first on Google and have full time employees whose job his to optimize the rankings. There’s a lot of techniques to improve your rankings other than back links and it’s called SEO (Search Engine Optimization). This is out of the scope of this article though.
So there it is, that’s how Google works and how it decides which site should be ranked first for specific keywords. It has a lot of advantages but at the same time, smaller websites with quality content struggle to get decent traffic. That’s the downside.
