Yes, 2012 it is the end of Maya calendar!! Also the sun will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way this might be true.. But one thing for sure is.. whether we die on 12-21-2012 or not.. We won't know, not even those who claim that they're able to predict the future..Why ? According to the bible.. noone knows when is the end of the world. Not even the Son of God!! Correct me if im' wrong..

A lot of assumptions and guesses being made on this subject. You'll know when it happens and there's nothing you can do about it. Enjoy your life and live each day as if it were your last. the reason 11:11 is noticable when you look at the clock is the numbers are all related, that's the only reason. like when we notice 7:11 or 10:10 and times like that, but we won't notice we keep looking at the clock everytime it's 4:37…even if we have looked at it time after time it has no significance to us.

I feel a little better after I have read this, I tend to panic too much about things, but I belive in God and I know he is the only one who knows for sure what is going to happen any day of the week. I hope he spares all of us as I have two small children and they would only be 9 and 5 by then and I want to see them grow into women and have families and be a grandma and all that good stuff…..I agree also, that if someone KNEW for SURE the "end of days" DATE they would leak or tend to share it with someone….like a spouse or a family member they are close with and another thing I wanted to point out is…..if it is the end of the world why have they not advanced the landing on Mars and figured out a way to start building homes if they think that is where they might be moving some of the people form earth???? I have always wondered that….3 years is not enough time to build that many houses or shelter for that many people on Earth….I think they would be better prepared for the end, than that.

the one thing that im scared of is the so called galactic alignment when the sun will rise in the center of the milkyway. this happens once every 26,000 years! so what happened the last time this occured? im not so easily assured that nothing will happen . i know that only god is in control but it still scares the hell out of me.

When I read this I could not keep myself from going crazy with agreement. What you said was very true. We can't predict when we will die so why are mayans and old astromoners any different? And people thought the world was going to end on 06.06.06 and it didn't. It seems like every year people think the world is going to end. I think all the people who were talking about all the stuff that will happen in 2012 on the History are foolish to believe a guy who died 500 years ago.
