I will always be amazed by the creativity of some projects on the Internet and also by the fact that these projects do work! One of them is freerice.com and the idea is quite simple:

FreeRice has two goals:

1. Provide English vocabulary to everyone for free.
2. Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.

So it’s fairly simple, you have the main page where you try to find the meaning of certain words and for every correct answer, you donate 20 grains of rice through the UN World Food Program.
